Great Saturday Morning to you all.

A word to all my family in Texas, Florida, North and South Carolina, and in Louisiana and in all parts of warm and hot climate--- We here in Rochester have a word for you---IT IS COLD UP NORTH.

Proverbs 14:13 says, "Hard work is worthwhile, but empty talk will make you poor."

We have all heard the phrase---talk is cheap. Partially true---Talk has power behind its words.

What you say has a direct connection to your heart. In most cases, whatever fills your heart will come out of your mouth.

Name it: Anger---it will come out

Cussing. It will come out

Fear. It will come out

Depression. Joy will come out

Joy. It will come out

Peace. It will come out

You can make that list however long you want.

Whatever is in people's hearts will leak out. They are talkers.

So, what has been leaking out of your mouth lately? Making wise decisions in what you say is extremely important. The Bible says it is life or death.

We have all been hurt by words that others have said, or we even have said to others. You don't need to lay a heavy hand on someone, the hurt is in the words we speak.

Remember the woman caught in adultery? Others were speaking harsh words of condemnation to her. Maybe she had it coming because of her lifestyle, yet Jesus' words were without condemnation and it changed her life.

I wonder how many lives could we change if our words would change.

Think about that for a moment. Let it sink in. 

Well, you will have an opportunity today, maybe tomorrow to speak words that will uplift or castdown.

Here is my question to us---What words will we choose?

Control your words and you will control your life and be considered MATURE.
