Good Saturday Morning Church

I trust you have had a great week.

**A little note-- We Have only 5 more rooms for Sight and Sound for April. If you are planning on joining us tomorrow is the deadline. Let me know.

Last week, I touched on leaving behind things that will be of no value to us as we enter 2025. I trust you have done that.

I want to address an area that seems to linger for a long time if we do not take special notice of it. That is this area of resentment. Ps. 37:8 says, "Let go of anger, and leave rage behind. Do not be preoccupied with it, it only leads to evil."

There are a lot of things that hurt us in life. You can make a list, but you will find resentment, anger will persist to stick around for as long as you let it. Resentment deals with emotions and emotions are often more painful than a physical hurt. Physical wounds are soon covered over, but emotional ones seem to last much longer. The enemy knows that and will remind you of it as often as you let him.

As we are just into the new year, let me challenge you to put behind your past and move forward. Don't rehearse the hurt of yesterday. Each time you do, you allow that person to hurt you again and again and have control over your life.

God has a plan for each of us for 2025, but often his hands get tied up because we hold on to  resentment of sorts. You see resentment is a sin. It is time to let it go (louie). When you do, God's plan for you begins to get revealed.

You would want to be released from resentment from another. Well, let it begin with you.

Much love,

Pastor G.

Read Daniel 3 and let it soak in real good for tomorrow.
