Good Saturday morning to you all.
Welcome to November. Wow!!!
Life is full of challenges. No one is exempt.
We have all heard the phrase == "We all go through challenges, it is how we address them that matters."
Throughout scriptures you find many of God's people going through difficult times.
So, right off the bat don't believe the foolishness of some believers who think--that because I am saved, now the problems are gone. In most cases, they are just about to start.
We are not saved so we won't have any more problems. We are saved so we can spend eternity with God in Heaven. Get that straighten out in your theology.
But I got good news for all of us--- Is. 43:2 says to us---"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned..."
You may recall that we proclaimed this month ---NOVEMBER is "Read your Bible DAILY month"
Here is my challenge to you. Read as many stories in the bible that speak about the difficulties that came to those who walked with God. Then record what was their outcome. You will find without question that God was faithful to them. He kept them not from the difficulties but from harm that could come on them.
See church, when you know the goodness and faithfulness of God, those difficult times will be manageable and victory will be yours, and as a result of that victory you will GROW spiritually.
We no longer want to be children, but mature believers in God.
So, when the challenge is on, when the heat is on, when the enemy comes against you, you will stand and not be defeated.
"GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU (HOLY SPIRIT), THEN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD."
